The service

StopDataReport computes tables and fixed-text reports from the counts you enter and from U.S. Census Bureau data, to help a Texas law enforcement agency prepare the comparative analysis described in Texas Code of Criminal Procedure article 2B.0055. It is a statistical tool.

Not legal advice; not affiliated with TCOLE

Nothing on this site or in a report is legal advice. StopDataReport is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement or any government body, and doesn’t file anything on your behalf.

Your responsibilities

Accuracy

We check the arithmetic: the files are made only when the totals you enter add up, and every figure is computed by the formulas on the methodology page. We can’t check your counts against your records, and Census figures are estimates with margins of error.

Payment and refunds

Payment is by card through Stripe’s checkout (Link), which sells on our behalf and handles any sales tax; the price shown is the total. One payment covers one agency and one year of stops. If the files can’t be produced because of a problem on our side, we refund the payment in full. Otherwise payments are final.

Retention

Reports are deleted as described on the privacy page. Download and keep your files.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report concerned.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
