The site
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Every page is checked with automated tests (axe-core) on each change, and is built to work with a keyboard and a screen reader: real headings, labels on every box, tables with headers, visible focus and enough color contrast.
The PDF reports
Reports are often posted on government websites, so the PDFs are built to be accessible: real text in an embedded font (not scanned images), tags for headings, paragraphs, lists and tables (with header cells), a logical reading order, the document title shown in the title bar, and the document language set to English. Page decoration and page numbers are marked as artifacts so screen readers skip them.
Known limits: the PDFs haven’t yet been certified against the PDF/UA standard with a validator such as veraPDF or PAC. If your agency adds content to a PDF (for example, a scanned signature page), check the final file’s accessibility before posting it. Every table is also available as CSV, and the full report can be read on screen as a web page.
